At Wing Ding 42 in Springfield, Missouri, Chapter J’s Roger and Dottie LeRoy received plaques for being the "Oldest Rider" and "Oldest Co-Rider" attending Wing Ding This year. Quite frankly, it doesn’t seem possible that, at age 39, Dottie was the oldest co-rider. But, statistics don’t lie! If you should happen to see Roger and/or Dottie, be sure to congratulate them on receiving this note-worthy recognition! Great Job representing Georgia!!!District News!!! Hi all, By all accounts, our 3rd Annual Come Ride With Us Rally was a GREAT success! The entire District Team would like to extend a Heart-Felt THANK YOU to all that attended and helped make our event fun. Yes, we had to dodge a few rain drops over the course of the weekend; but everyone still seemed to enjoy themselves immensely. We had 68 attendees from the Florida District alone. Obviously, they have heard of the fine riding we have in North Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina. For 2022, our 4th Annual Come Ride With Us Rally will be back at the River Vista Resort, 20 River Vista Dr., in Dillard, GA. The date for our 2022 event is September 15 - 17, 2022. Changes and updates are currently being made to our event flyer. But, it will be available soon!Camp sites are going fast, so be sure to get your reservations made early! Also, remember it helps the Georgia District when you register early, so please consider doing so. This helps us in planning for the food. We will have a chili supper on Friday night after the Chapter Chili Cook Off, so get your chapter involved in the Cook Off. All chili has to be home made and in a crock pot so we can keep it hot. The Cook Off is open to all Members. On Saturday night we will have a gourmet Hot dog supper with baked beans, cole slaw, potato chips and a dessert. There will be a guided ride on Thursday afternoon plus 3 guided rides on Friday and 3 more guided rides on Saturday. Bingo on Friday night. All this for only $10.00 per person!! Come and join the FUN!THANK YOU from the Outgoing Georgia District Team The 4th Annual Georgia District "Come Ride With Us" Riding Rally has concluded and it was a fantastic success! Sadly, with GWRRA shutting down their operations, this was the final event in Georgia under the banner of GWRRA. But, all good things must eventually come to end. As we close down our operations in Georgia, the entire Georgia District team would like to express our extreme gratitude and appreciation to all our members in Georgia and throughout the organization. We especially want to thank everyone that attended this year’s "Come Ride With Us" Riding Rally... and/or any of our events over the past four years. Putting on this event... for YOU, the members, has been our pleasure. Sufficient words do not exist that can adequately express our gratitude for your support.
